Why can't President Bush do something about the ridiculous rise in gas prices. Just today within one hour my local gas station jumped from $2.55 a gallon to $2.79 a gallon. That's almost a quarter in an hour!!!
The President can do something about this, but he doesn't -- instead he's making so much money in revenue for the government that it's hurting the everyday working man/woman.
Gas prices rise, so does the cost of living! You think a loaf of bread is going to stay at the price you pay today -- well with rising gas prices, it'll be double tomorrow. How can companies compete with the rising gas prices? They raise there prices to compensate -- then that screws the consumer, because he/she cannot cope with the rise in the cost of living.
Our employers aren't going to give us raises to compensate for the rise in the cost of living. So we're the ones that are getting f*cked up the arses by the government and gas companies. Isn't time YOU put a 'cap' on the surging gas prices Mr Bush? Why don't you do something nice for the people of America? Give us lower gas prices, instead of lining your pocket with millions of dollar bills!!!
The GREED will soon consume YOU!!!
"There, I had to say what I had to say -- although it's not going to do any good. It's just my bitchin' page, lol!!!"

This natural disaster is fast becoming a catastrophe not just for the people directly by Katrina, but by our Nation as a whole. The really bad thing about that is that it is being caused not by natural sources, but by outright greed of corporate elites. The gas that is at the pumps RIGHT NOW did not cost this much to produce. For the past several years, as prices have gone up and down because of some crisis or another, there has been LAG TIME. Something happens, prices go up immediatly, the event or reason ends and prices have come down, but at a far slower rate and in fact, never go down past a previous high. Everyone knows this, it just is not talked about, we know that we have no choice but to pay up to keep this Nation going. we were built on oil and now are controlled by an administration with two oil men in the top postions of power so, this will get worse before some sanity comes back to the elite in D.C.
When a store owner raises prices during an emergency, he is accused of price gouging, the oil companies do it and Jorge Bush gives them massive tax breaks. Welcome to comasionate conservatism.
